So...

While on vacation, I went to the lake to do some bass fishing from the shore... but after a short bit, I ran out of the large nightcrawler worms I'd been using. As luck would have it, I saw a cottonmouth with a frog in its mouth. Now I know that frogs are good bass bait. I also knew that this snake couldn't bite me with the frog in his mouth. So I grabbed him right behind the head, took the frog and put it in my bait bucket. Of course now I was faced with the dilemma of how to release the snake without getting bit in the process. Reaching into my tackle box, I grabbed my bottle of Jack Daniels and poured a little whiskey into that snake's mouth. His eyes rolled back and he went limp. I was then able to release that snake into the lake without incident and continued with my fishing... using the frog.

Some time later, I felt a nudge on my foot. Looking down I found that same snake... this time with two frogs in his mouth.

Yes... life is good in the south!
