{LSB} wants to thank all members for their feedback with keeping {LSB} the best place to enjoy a sniper experience.

The following changes have been made:

1.) Zoom: Coded to give the sniper a nice smooth zoom and unzoom feel. We will continue to have zoom dependent on size of map however we did increase the zoom level slightly

2.) FFA:We have brought back Death Match but will continue to have a 40 yard minimum kill distance. Please read rules for FFA as they are different from Team Deathmatch maps.

3.) Knives: In FFA maps (only) by tapping the 'F' button (Use Key), snipers will have the ability to toss a knife at it's target. ** There is still a 40 yard minimum kill distance for knife tosses **

4.) Stats: The website has been updated to reflect game stats. Stats are in effect as of today April 27th and will be updated daily. ** You must have 15 kills to show your stats **

Again thanks for the input and we will continue to review the list to see what other changes we can make.

Map QA {LSB} Team, thanks for all the help locating things to repair team as well as help with developing our map. The participation in this portion of the process really helps to ensure we have very few if any defects left in game as well as ridding the map of any glitches that may present themselves.

LSB Flatey (pronounced (Flat A) is designed after an island in Iceland the home of {LSB} Alfa. while the name suggests a simple flat map and possibly an island, we believe you will find this map to be challenging and fun. This map is pleasing to the eye and a very fun map to play.

The water is inviting but we advise you stay out, shark warning signs are posted for very good reasons, so enter the water at your own risk.
The presence of several Viking items such as the Viking ship and various other articles of Viking heritage make this map not only fun to play but fun to look at.

We hope you will enjoy the map Thanks again to the community from
Sound assistance
Thanks to {LSB} Alfa for the assistance on getting the in game sounds to run with this version of CoD. You
have saved the team a lot of time. The sounds really helped to complete this map.

Map QA {LSB} Team, thanks for all the help locating things to repair team as well as help with developing
our map. The participation in this portion of the process really helps to ensure we have very few if any defects left in game as well as ridding the map of any glitches that may present themselves.

Harbor Snipe map is a remap of the CoD 2 version of Harbor Snipe previously mapped by Slick Toxic.
I want to say thanks for Slick Toxic providing the source files that LSB could port this map to WaW.

This map has changed a bit while most of the content is original. Terrain has been smoothed to remove most of the sharp angles and new terrain has been added to open the corners of the map for game play. Addition of snipe bunkers in the hills as well provides for new sniping locations and angles.

The original submarine has been altered only with minor changes use of custom cable textures are now in use. The Submarine has been used in the harbor and will run at prescribed intervals across the center of the map. The sub will surface run across the map then re-submerge. New Wing Dams have been added to provide the illusion of a protected harbor these areas are also in play but were difficult to clip. Players will play this area at their own risk getting stuck is a possibility and death a sure thing.

Good luck finding your targets on this map with the new skins it proves interesting.

We hope you will enjoy the map Thanks again to the community from

The Long Winter

This map is a remap of the CoD 2 version of The Long Winter. Winter maps are fun to build and more fun
to play in my opinion. This map uses custom textures and sounds created by {LSB}. With the absence of winter textures in CODWaW we had to create our own snow and ice.
Thanks to all of the persons in the graphics community that share their methods of creating tiling textures.
Without this information, interactive discussion, and sharing, quality custom textures would never be available.

The map will run in both DM and TDM modes.

This map employs the use of the {LSB} Death Script that does not allow map crossing in TDM or TDMS modes but
also allows this map to be used as Deathmatch map, no more messy mines or spawners disrupting game play by
running though mine fields.

I want to say thanks to Tally and the participants at RGN forums for their hard work on helping the
community with workarounds for this game. We could not have released without their dedication to the
community.

And Last but not least I would like to thanks IW for not not providing dedicated server support for the CoD MW². I would not have mapped this map for WaW had they included the humble sniper in their latest offering.

Enjoy the map and remember we at LSB mod and map so that you can play.

The {LSB} Mapping team has been hard at work and announces the converted release of Gloomy Moor.

Two versions of Gloomy Moor were originally released with COD4 and hope to see our night version of Gloomy make it's way to the World At War stage.

With the delay of Modern Warfare 2, the mapping team will try to convert two other maps: Poisoned Pool and The Long Winter along with a brand new release going up on the event server for beta this week - Maunsell

RE: Release of {LSB} Gazala

Many of our regular players have been asking for a long range map and we at {LSB} are more than happy to bring one to you.QA Testing is complete we hope that all will enjoy a slightly larger map. Shots out over 900 yards are present in this map. The main structure utilizes moving doors and teleporters to allow access to upper levels.Moving doors are marked with a circular SS symbol, you only have to hit your use key once and the doors will open. Standing too close to the trigger will not allow you to see the door to open so feel free to stand back a bit so you can see the doors location. Most floors have a similar layout so navigation should become easy.In the main structure where the tanks are stored you will note there are squares on the floors, these too are teleporters to get you to outlying buildings. The squares are laid out as are the outlying buildings step on the one you want and you will go there. Each outlying building has a teleporter to take you back you will have to look for these. One door is not marked it is at the LSB bar I hope many of you will find it.Teleporters are located in archways that you will have to look for, they blend in to the background walls pretty well. The LSB mapping team would like to thank LSB members for assistance in the QA
of the map prior to release we hope that you will all enjoy this remap
of {LSB} Gazala.Special thanks to all of the regular members that participated in the QA process we could not do what we do with out you guys to share with.Keep watching for more maps from LSB as the mapping team focuses on the next releases.
